The bed is not a toilet!

Today we are 9 weeks old.
We are now BANNED from the bedroom! Trinny weed on the bed again (this time it was witnessed) and this resulted in an immediate ban from the bedroom until further notice. It wasn't quite as destructive as last time - it only got on a sleeping bag, 2 sheets, a newly drycleaned sheepskin underlay and the new waterproof mattress protector (which thankfully works a treat!). Today we have been spreading newspaper all over the lounge floor and playing with our new toy, a big piece of brown paper! As usual our litter box is nowhere near big enough - the litter tends to be spread from one end of the laundry to the next! We are eating 2 pouches of kitten food a day now.

Trouble with a capital T!

Well it's been nearly a week now and we are fairly settled in. The week has been eventful, with us "forgetting" on numerous occasions to use the litter tray (the mattress still has a big stain on it but the smell is gradually going away). We have discovered a few new toys such as cardboard boxes and newspaper (at great expense to the management) but the bed that our owner bought us especially has not been used since our first night (unless you count Trinny using it as a litter box a few nights ago....). We have had our first vaccinations and worming treatment. We have also caused extreme sleep deprivation for our owner, as she likes to sleep on "our" bed. We constantly remind her of the fact that it is our bed by walking over her face when she is trying to sleep, attempting to pull down the vertical blinds, and scratching her face in the night with our ultra-sharp claws!

Our new home!

This is us in our new home on the first night. We took a while to get used to our new surroundings but found great joy in pulling all our owner's clothes off the airers - great fun! We also spent a lot of time hiding behind and under things.

A bit older

Not sure exactly how old we are here. We are now eating proper food and we are toilet trained - our new owner is very happy about that!

2 weeks old

This is us at 2 weeks old. Tobago (Toby for short) is on the left and Trinidad (Trinny for short) is on the right. We don't do much at the moment, just squeak a lot.
